From the Principal
Welcome! Murrumburrah Public School was
established in 1883 and holds a proud record within the Harden-Murrumburrah
District in the provision of academic, sporting and cultural pursuits.
I’m sure you will find it a pleasant,
caring and industrious school. Working in an attractive environment,
the experienced staff aims to cater for the different needs of the
children and is able to offer a very wide range of learning
experiences. Guided by the school motto, “Learn to Live”, we assist
the children to fulfill their individual potentials by encouraging them
to continually improve their levels of achievement. We encourage our
students to achieve success in all aspects of school, not just academic
activities.
This is a friendly caring school, with
students encouraged to take pride in both their own appearance and that
of their school. Parents and Community members have taken an active
role in the beautification of the school and their efforts are very much
appreciated.
Our staff are very supportive and
conscious of providing students with every available opportunity to
support their learning.
Parents are welcomed into the school.
Parents who are actively involved within the school are more aware of
school routines and programs and therefore able to offer greater support
to assist their children to reach their potential. We encourage open
communication between families and the school. Should parents wish to
make an appointment for an interview at any time throughout the year,
they are encouraged to contact the school office, to make a mutually
convenient time.
I wish your family a happy, safe and
rewarding time at Murrumburrah Public School.
